Creation

Wind, Rain, and Fire are characters created by Bill Willingham and Mike Leeke and were published in the mini series titled Pantheon, Welcome to the Machine. Lone Star Press introduced these characters in Pantheon # 1 in 2007.

History

The trio of women calling themselves Wind, Rain, and Fire work as a collaborate team due to the orientation of their powers. Tess or Wind, controls the air currents around herself from soft breezes to hurricane force. Moria or Rain, can produce rain storms and severe monsoons. And lastly Jo or Fire, she is a pyrotechnic who can produce and control fire and intense heat. All have the gift of flight and work in unison complementing one another with their nature oriented abilities.

Originally villains of the Freedom Machine, the trio assisted the heroes when death dealing gaze of Deathboy made his appearance. With many of the worlds heroes and super-teams combining their forces to stop the teenage powerhouse the trio came to terms with their viewpoints and joined in. When Commander Cross developed a strategy to eliminate the treat of Deathboy the trio were to be a part of it. Wind and Rain called in a driving rainstorm to cover the retreat of some of the other heroes however were briefly seen and sent into oblivion. Fire also did not escape the gaze of Deathboy while she was blasting him with hellfire. The three of them died during the first strike attempt on Deathboy.
