Post Black September
It was not specified if these characters existed in the post-Black September continuity. Since Contrary was erased from existence (it was strongly hinted Contrary was involved with the creation of the Freex), it’s possible the Freex were as well. Freex member Cayman did appear in the post-Black September continuity in Ultraforce and theAll-New Exiles, but he never made any mention of the Freex.
