History

The creation of this species of vampire is unknown, but their abilities has been documented. The Charniputra are native to the Himalayas and they exist in their pseudo-bat forms at virtually all times. They have tougher skin than other vampires and large claws, talons, fangs, and leathery wings. They live in mid-air rather than the ground.

A company of representative Charniputra attended the vampire gathering in which Xarus killed his father Dracula.
