History

The council is comprised of each of the heads of their respective houses.

• Yue - The House of the Rat
• Qi - The House of the Snake
• Haichun - The House of the Bear
• Choshin The House of the Bull
• Patience - The House of the Rabbit
• The Divine Wolf - The House of the Wolf

Trial of the Seven Masters

After Danny Rand began losing his power to harness his chi to perform his abilities of the Iron Fist he started to partake in as many battles as he could to try and regain those talents. After facing many fighters that weren't even close to being on his level Danny was met by Choshin who invited him to the mystical island of Liu-Shi to fight in the Trial of the Seven Masters. The trial being a Kung-Fu tournament that would establish the island with some legitimacy if they were to defeat K'un-Lun's Iron Fist.

Upon defeating each of the houses chosen champion Danny would absorb a part of their chi, thus allowing him to restore a portion of his own power. His first opponent in the competition was the Eel of Blessed Waters of House Eel. Danny defeated him easily enough and absorbed part of his chi. His next foe would be the Rat of 12 Plagues of House Rat.
