The first Dacoits appear in Captain America Comics #34 (November, 1943), where they serve Princess Ramasi, who claims to be the daughter of the goddess Kali, however, she is an undercover Japanese spy.

The Dacoits appear again in Master of Kung Fu (1974-1983) as one of the groups commanded by Fu Manchu, later, Fu Manchu creates the Order of the Golden Dawn, uniting Si-Fan, Dacoits and two other groups of Indian origin: Thugees and Phansigars.

At the behest of Zheng Zu (formerly known as Fu Manchu), Zaran (Zhou Man She) commanded Dacoits who attacked Shang-Chi and the Marvel Knights, their clothing resembles that of ninjas.

Creation

Dacoits serving Fu Manchu was the creation by the author Sax Rohmer, and first appeared in his 1913 novel The Mystery of Dr. Fu-Manchu.
