Droidekas (aka Destroyer Droids or rollies as clone troopers called them) are fast droids capable of morphing into a ball for quick travel. They are equipped with two duel laser cannons and a small shield generator. They were originally created by the Trade Federation for their private army, but became a part of the Separatist army when the Confederacy of Independent Systems (CIS) was formed, merging the technologies of the Trade Federation, the Banking Clan, the Techno-Union, and other organizations to fight against the Republic. The Droidekas would be used in countless battles over the course of the Clone Wars.
