H.A.T.E. is funded by the Beyond Corporation which is actually a front for the terrorist organization S.I.L.E.N.T.

They used to have a special squad called Nextwave, until the members of it found out where the funding was coming from and defected, stealing a ship (the H.A.T.E. Aeromarine ) in the process.

H.A.T.E. keeps their opperatives alive and looking young through special, life extending H.A.T.E. drugs. H.A.T.E. has the best drugs.
