The Litter consists of five students who have altered their DNA. They are dedicated to create a better race through genetic engineering. Only that the better race would have canine features.

Once while they all were visiting America as exchange students, they stole some equipment from bio-labs. The theft was stopped by Captain Britain, and Spider-Man soon joined the fray. During the fight Captain Britain struck Basenji a bit hard and she cracked her back against a corner of a building. This stopped the fight and soon the authorities arrived. It's unknown what happened to the Litter after this incident.
