History

A New Galactic Republic (Legends)

Created after the Galactic Civil War, the New Republic fought in many wars including the Cloned Emperor, the Rogue Empire, Grand Admiral Thrawn, and the Yuuzhan Vong wars. Some famous members of this group include Leia Organa Solo, Luke Skywalker, Admiral Ackbar, and Han Solo. The government works the same way that the Old Republic worked except that the Jedi Knights are separate.
