Nhu’Ghari History

An ancient race of people who stumbled upon a valley that had miracle like effects. Their wounds would heal and they wouldn't die but eventually they mutated into avian like creatures that could no longer handle the work load to maintain their city. That's when they devised a plan to make the locals send their sick and injured to their valley almost like a spiritual crossing over so that they could be healed by the properties and enslaved.

What was actually causing these bizarre phenomenon was an underground volcano that was releasing radiation into the valley.
