Team Description

The Red Skulls are a neo-Nazi movement inspired by The Red Skull and influenced by New York City cop turned vigilante, Frank Castle, who was known as The Punisher in the 1970s. According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, they are a hate group with an inconsistent and contradictory ideology. They are officially antiestablishment but often target society's weak and vulnerable. They have 23 different militia towns across the North American Union, including Castletown, which was home to 1,500 men, women, and children, including the Grand Skull, leader of the militia.

Creation

The Red Skulls first appear in a newsreel being watched by Captain America in Ultimates (2024) #2 by Deniz Camp and Juan Frigeri.
