The Stockpile were a band of mercenaries in the employ of Morgan Stark, with Joust as deputy leader. They plotted to seize the armor of the recently deceased Tony Stark, but didn't realize that Tony had been replaced with a younger version from an alternate timeline. Their infiltrator Calico was killed trying to break into Stark International, but the other members launched an all-out assault soon after.

The group failed in their attempts to gain control over the Iron Man armor when they were confronted by Iron Boy and War Machine. Morgan was killed in the struggle and the other members were incarcerated, and the group disbanded, with Sunstreak eventually joining The Initiative and Joust and Unicorn presumably still incarcerated.
