The Antitheses (yes it is spelled correctly as taken directly from the first page of Venom Issue #13.1), are hellish warriors representing the polar opposites of the Circle of Four (Venom (Flash Thompson), Ghost Rider (Alejandra), Red Hulk, X-23). They were created by BlackHeart and this team from hell is made of up:
- The Evangelist (Venom counterpart)
- Ichor (Ghost Rider counterpart)
- X-666 (X-23 counterpart)
- Encephalon (Red Hulk counterpart)
These characters are made up of the mirror-line of their counterparts - their weaknesses, fears and everything else it takes to kill them.
