SHIELD thought holding the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Kraven the Hunter, Electro and Sandman incarcerated at the Triskelion was a good idea until Otto Octavius engineered the groups' escape.

Once free, Norman Osborn attempts to recruit Peter Parker into the fold by blackmailing him. Spider-Man resists and teams up with Nick Fury, SHIELD and the Ultimates to take them down, which ultimately results in an all-out brawl in front of the White House. In which The Ultimate Six threaten to kill the president of the U.S.  

After being seemingly permanently imprisoned, they once escape and regroup to have vengeance on Spider-Man for ruining their lives. They track Spider-Man outside of his home and see him unmasked, the six are than confronted by Human Torch and Iceman but they manage to dispatch of them. The six engage in a battle in Spider-Man's neighborhood who Spider-Man manages to defeat. After reuniting with his family and friends Green Goblin lunges at him after his presumed defeat, Spider-Man lays down his life to protect his loved ones and kills Osborn along with his himself.
