She-Hulk and Louise Mason encountered The Black Talon while under an investigation about a zombie.  With his abilities using a voodoo doll, he created four mutant zombies whom he ordered to attack the She-Hulk.

She-Hulk fought them while Changeling caused so much trouble riding on a police car and morphing into Elvis Presley. She-Hulk defeated him and asked him the reason why he is doing those things. After the team has been defeated, they were reported to be reburied.

It was also noted that the team have been formed in a swamp in Louisiana.
