Yrds
A semi-humanoid alien race with green skin. Yrds have one inch long horns protruding from their foreheads that could be used as weapons.

Origin
The Yrds are a developed alien race with human level intellect. For centuries they were burying radioactive waste underneath their oceans and continents until eventually there was no more room left. Their government took the decision to shoot their next load of toxic waste into space thus accepting the endangerment of other worlds over their own. Fortunately the load was destroyed when it ventured into the path of a comet.
Creation
The Yrds were created by brothers Stan Lee and Larry Lieber an first appeared in "Hands Off!" in 1964.
