Origin

The exact origin of the Mold Patrol is unknown but they are familiar with The Asthma Monster and at some point became a sub-team of The Allergen Gang.

Creation

The Mold Patrol were created by Howard Mackie and Mark Bagley. First appearing in Return of the Asthma Monster which is a comic focused towards those who suffer from asthma.

Return of the Asthma Monster!

The Mold Patrol are some of the many threats who guard the way to The Asthma Monster from Captain America. They hide in John's (one of two kids assisting Cap) bedroom and place flowers in there to hide behind. When Captain America and the kids enter the room, the Mold Patrol cover them in mold and pollen spores. However, Dr. Franklin arrives with inhalers, which cause the Mold Patrol to flee from the building.
