Origin

The Mud Brothers were first seen after they were hired by a mobster known as Salvatore to collect a debt for him. While they originally set out with this mission in mind, they were given a better deal by The Goon and decided to work alongside him and his pals, defending Lonely Street.

Creation

The Mud Brothers were created by Eric Powell for 'The Goon' comic series.

Team Evolution

The Mud Brother's have a conflicting team name; considering sometimes they're called the Mud Brothers while other-times being dubbed the Mudd Brothers; it is unknown what the official title of the group is or why it is so often altered.

The team disbanded after the death of Bill Mudd; thus leaving Charlie Mudd as the only surviving member.

Drawing On Your Nightmares

The first appearance of the Mud Brothers, they entered the Goon universe after being hired by Salvatore to collect a debt that was owed to him. They eventually turned against Salvatore after being given a better deal by the Goon.

The Goon Volume Three

Alongside the Goon and his other allies, the Mud Brothers helped defend Lonely Street from zombies and other supernatural creatures that belong to the army of the Zombie Priest. Unfortunately they were caught off guard after a former ally of the Goon, Merle, sold information to the Zombie Priest, the attack resulted in the near death of Charlie and the death of Bill.
