A motley group of criminals, the quintet of Russian-born n’er-do- wells known as the Red Five Brigade has made a career out of attempting to make their “Big Score” and live a life of luxury and excess.

Led by the radioactive Doctor Chernobyl, whose gun fires blasts of intense radiation and whose armor prevents him from succumbing to the energies ravaging his own body. He is joined by the armored behemoth known as Red Menace, whose battlesuit, while somewhat out-dated, still packs more than sufficient power to give even the heroes of today pause. Ursa Minor, a mechanical genius capable of creating wonders of technology from what others might consider junk. His companion, Ursa Major, who, though simple of mind, possesses tremendous physical strength and power. And finally, Baba Yaga, a goblin-like witch who seems to have fallen far from the legendary Slavic horror of days gone by.

The group has been drawn into conflicts both together and separately with heroes such as the All-American, the Ukrainian champion known only as Citizen Hero, and most recently with the People’s Hero Steel Wolf when they attempted to rob one of Vance City’s large banks during the hero’s perceived absence.

Though they have suffered defeat after defeat, the group’s tenacity, as well as their loyalty to one another, is remarkable. And no matter what their reputation within the villain community, they are determined to succeed and have the last laugh.
