General Info
A team of odd humans and a banished sSoul Reaper that live in the candy store Urahara Shoten. The team is made up of Kisuke Urahara, Tessai Tsukabishi, Ururu Tsumugiya, Jinta Hanakari, and occasionally Yoruichi Shihouin.
Purpose
Urahara seems to have gathered the team after his exile from the Soul Society. Each member is unique, powerful, and different in many ways. They usually just do Kisuke's bidding and do what they can to make life difficult for whoever they are fighting.
Involvement
Whenever Ichigo or the others get involved in a new situation Team Urahara Shoten is there to get involved, but only they know why. Mobilized during the hunt for Kon and then again in the Battle of the Rubicon, they never show their full strength. They act as a clean up crew for Ichigo and Uryu. Then the team makes a real mess of things when they help to get Ichigo's power back after his defeat by Byakuya and Renji.
