Darklings
The Darklings are part of the Darkness force. They serve the current wielder of the Darkness and do his bidding.

The darklings do whatever their master commands them to do, in his subconsciousness however he can give orders to the darklings which they will also obey. If someone with more power over the Darkness comes along they will obey that master. The darklings interact with each other and their master. The master doesn't need to see them in order to remain in contact or control, but it has to be dark.
