Writer and artist Kyle Baker created a unique version of one of the Old Testament's best known stories, David and Goliath. Based on the life of the King of the Israelites, the graphic novel remained true to the source material while also being fresh and full of attitude. Baker's artwork added drama to every page, especially in his use of color. The story included major events from King David's life, starting with the fight with Goliath and finishing with the birth of his son after his affair with Bathsheba.
