4-issue mini-series from Jerry Prosser and Warren Pleece under DC Comic's then new Vertigo imprint. The story features a man named John Oakes, who meets the original Green Lantern villain Abel Tarrant AKA " the Tattooed Man" in prison when they share a cell together. 
 Tarrant passes on his strange power to Oakes making him the second Tattooed Man, the series follows him as he tries to control his new powers.
