A Dame To Kill For is the second story arc in Frank Miller's Sin City universe. It introduces us to the character of Dwight McCarthy, a man struggling to control a lot of pent-up rage and to figure out his place in Sin City. He impulsively gets involved again with his ex-wife Ava Lord who betrayed him. His obsession causes his life to quickly spiral out of control in this powerful tale of lust and revenge.
The story makes use of the fully realized universe of Sin City and loops in Marv from The Hard Goodbye and the Girls from Old Town.
