Origin

As a young girl, Bex survived a monster attack at the Valmont Mountain House hotel. She was befriended by another young girl staying at the hotel, Erica. Erica was secretly a monster hunter trainee with her mentor, Jessica. They worked for the Order of St. George. Part of their job was to keep the secret about monsters from ever getting out, but Jessica and Erica were not fond of killing children. Their fellow hunter, Cecilia, invited Bex to join the Order as a trainee rather than dispose of her. During the process, Bex grew close to Big Gary, who was in charge of training and equipment. Rather than become a hunter, she followed in Big Gary's footsteps instead. She was eventually stationed ironically at the Valmont Mountain House, which had been bought by The Order due to his proximity to a monster breeding ground.
