Major Story Arcs
The Horned Emperor

Valentine was sick of living under the whims of The Horned Emperor and sought to usurp control of The Atelier, a secret society of assassins. They manipulated a lottery to get assigned as the contact for new member auditions. Val chose Deadpool and Lady Deathstrike and set them up for failure, by leaking to Doc Ock his status as the target. After Deadpool got his assignment, he was kidnapped and experimented on by The Harrower, who implanted with a clone of the Carnage symbiote. She had partnered up with Doc Ock.
This caused Wade to fail the audition, but he still went to Valentine for help with the implanted symbiote. Despite being instructed to cut off contact, Valentine helped Wade since they had a crush on him. While testing the symbiote in public, Doc Ock and Harrower kidnapped Deadpool again with the symbiote, Princess. Val leveraged Deathstrike into helping them track down Deadpool. Although they were successful, it proved to The Atelier that she was compromised, so The Horned Emperor released the members after her.
With Deadpool and Deathstrike's help, Val was able to avoid and kill many members of The Atelier, until The Horned Emperor himself confronted Val. During this confrontation, Val's manipulations of Deadpool were revealed, but Val swore to Wade that her feelings were genuine. When Val finally fatally killed the Horned Emperor, the power and title transitioned to her. They were nearly overwhelmed by the chorus of voices that comes with the power, but Wade was able to anchor them.
Resurrection of Deadpool
Val and Wade had a good relationship for a while, but they got so focused on their jobs that they grew apart. Val eventually left leaving a not behind. In his depression, Wade and Princess started Deadpool & Daughters, Inc, with Ellie Camacho and Taskmaster. This put Wade in the crosshairs of a new villain Death Grip, who had Muramasa Blade metal implanted in his body giving him the ability to kill Deadpool.
Desperate to resurrect their father, Princess led Ellie to Val hoping they could science Wade back to life. Unfortunately, because he was hurt by Muramasa metal, they needed a magical solution. Tapping into their Horned Emperor abilities, Val connected Ellie and Wade, allowing Ellie's similar healing factor to be used by both Ellie and her father. This would cause their healing factors to be less powerful than they have been, but they would both be alive.
