Background

A psiot entity, once housed by Project Rising Spirit that is capable of limited mind control, telepathy, and energy absorption. It used its powers to steal the life force from others, possibly result in their deaths. It utilizes the form of a black cat as its main host. It was defeated by Zephyr while controlling a former teen actress.

Powers & Abilities

Dark Star is capable of draining energy from living beings, though it seems that psiots either have a greater natural resistance or more energy, making them more likely to survive the process as Faith/Zephyr did. Dark Star has some limited telepathy through its mind control but was overwhelmed when it tried to access Sydney Pierce, only to enter into the collective telepathic space of The Vine.
