Plot Summary

...Do Not a Prison Make!

Continued from last issue, Green Lantern finds himself in prison for breaking and entering, and destruction of property for the time he attacked Goldface. What is worse he is cellmates with Black Hand, who reveals he and many of the guards are working with Goldface, in a plot to finally get rid of Green Lantern for good.

Green Lantern fights off the inmates and guards while Tom Kalmaku looks for Hal's power battery so he can charge the ring. Just when it looks like Green Lantern may meet his end, Tom finds the battery, charges the ring and sends it to Hal, who uses it to fight back.

While all this is going on, Carol tries to get Hal out of prison but meets political road blocks. Carl Ferris has his own pollical problems when Jason Bloch accuses him of being a traitor to the us government.

Later when Green Lantern finally gets out of jail, Carol reveals the only way he got out legally was if he promised to leave Goldface alone, something that Hal doesn't feel like he can do if he stays on Earth.

Peril from the Past
