In this first issue Mark Shaw introduces the world at large to MANHUNTER as a mercenary bounty hunter. Suiting up on the roof tops of Gotham City Manhunter is ready for Penguin as he attempts to move 'The Roc' a diamond stolen from the Met - who will pay handsomley to get it back.

Mark succeeds and the reader is introduced to the ways of the Bounty Hunter (collecting their fee after dropping off the trash with the cops), as well as the Shaw family, and the Manhunter legacy that Shaw is attempting to turn around/make amends for in his new capacity.

The issue is capped off with a pursuit of Captain Cold, hot on the trail of a hot target and a cool payday, only to have the cops show up and cause more trouble for our metallic masked marauder.
