- World Below The Northpole: (Wonder Woman) Steve Trevor is shot down over the north pole while scouting a location for a radar station. Wonder Woman is sent on a secret mission to bring equipment to that station so she searches for him and is fired on by the same "mole men" who shot Steve down. the people who lived below the north pole shot at them because planes from the very enemy the radar station was meant to guard against (called Warlandia) had been doing practice bombing runs over their city without knowing it was there.
