As the Avengers recover from recent events, the Gatherers return with a new group of refugee Avengers of parallel worlds. Proctor leads the NYPD to discover the bodies of two of its detectives at the bottom of the river, leading Lieutenant Marta Dubois straight to Avengers Mansion to place Sersi under arrest.
