Origin
At the onset of Krakoa, a nation for mutants by mutants, Doctor Doom predicted failure. He promised sanctuary to any Latverian mutant to stop them from leaving Latveria for Krakoa. Doom took a year to train seven of them as his own personal X-Men. The identity of two of them, Doom is keeping secret for now.
Creation
The first appearance of assembled members of the Seven Daggers was in X-Men (2021) #38 by Gerry Duggan and Joshua Cassara.
Major Story Arcs
Fall of X
When Orchis attacked Krakoa, resulting in Krakoan mutants being dead or on the run, Doom's prediction came true. Surviving members of the X-Men attempted to enter Latveria, believing their mutants were being held against their will. Members of the Seven Daggers quickly fought back against the X-Men, eventually defeating them. As a show of good faith, they promised their assistance.
