Black Planet
Raccoon was able to make a deal with the crime family that is connected to the Narn K Genetic Research Facility. They had grown tired of Antonio Zampa, the heir to Narn K, and offered his membership to Raccoon if he agreed to kill him. Having done so, Raccoon uncovered a strange red octopus stuck under Zampa’s armpit. He mentioned it to Don Zampa, the former head of Narn K on his deathbed, who passed that information on to Doc Horror, leader of the Nocturnals.
Having taken over Zampa’s businesses, Raccoon was targeted by one of Zampa’s enforcers, Fane. Fane referred to deals he had struck up with Zampa, related to the red creature that Raccoon had found, but Raccoon often dismissed Fane out of distrust. Fane leaned on Raccoon’s workers and flipped them against Raccoon. They laid siege on his home, but Raccoon had backup from Doc and Starfish. They had coincidentally come looking for Raccoon for help tracking members who were caught breaking into the Narn K facility.
Raccoon and The Nocturnals teleported into the tunnels where Komodo and Eve were surrounded by Crims. They were able to kill the Crims thanks to the advanced ammunition Doc created, mixing it with his portal technology, sending chunks of the Crims back to their homeworld. Fane tried to run off with Eve, but Raccoon and Komodo managed to break all the hybrids out while the Crims were busy with the other Nocturnals. Together, they overwhelmed Fane, freeing Eve and ending the Crim’s world takeover.
The Dark Forever
After the end of the monster shop, Raccoon started working for Don Zampa, but his workers kept turning up as zombies. He asked Doc for help, but he was too busy with an archaeological dig under the tomb. His independent investigation brought him to the beach where he came across Starfish, who was returning from a long trip for Thanksgiving. He recruited her to help him look further into it, including the pub full of dead guys he had found which are now reanimated. While trying to fight them, they were nearly overwhelmed until Firelion showed up to rescue them.
Raccoon’s investigation led them to a lighthouse of inhuman origin. They found a trap door, leading to underground halls where they found cultural artifacts depicting the history of the Skerrls. This overwhelmed Star, who ran off. Racoon and Firelion inspected the tunnels a little further but turned back when they saw a number of fish-people, which they would later learn were called Skerrls. They returned to the beach where they were reunited with the Nocturnals. Star had been returned to the beach by the ghosts of her ancestors, and the rest had teleported from the deeper hidden catacombs.
Poly had absorbed the spirits that powered Skerrl magic and released them to the afterlife, however, it was too late. The Skerrl had already summoned a leviathan from the ocean floor. The Nocturnals were ready to run, but Star was able to command the leviathan as the last of the original fish-people. She sent it back to the ocean depths.
