Origin

Bailey Briggs was a normal boy before Madame Monstrosity spiced his genes with a spider. It gave him Spider-Strength, Super-Leaping, Wall Crawling and a kind of spider sense where when he touches an object he gets an psychic reading if the owner of that object is in trouble. These powers are useful but he also gained some physical appearance changes as well. He grew eight new eyes and now has venomous bite that happens when extends his fangs and mandibles. In his monster form he can also communicate with spider, even those from other realms like Klöpp.

Spider-Man rescued Bailey and realized the young boy was having trouble controlling his new powers, especially his new eyes. Spider-Man took him to Daredevil to be trained, a task that Daredevil took on with great personal interest.

After his training, Bailey asked to be Spider-Man's sidekick and took on the name, Spider-Boy. He then got a new suit from Mr. Fantastic, that gave him even more powers and protection.

Spider-Boy promised Spider-Man that he wouldn't take on any big level badies until Spider-Man agreed he was ready. This day came when Briggs was 10 and the Big Wheel attacked and Spider-Boy saved Aunt May. After that day Spider-Man trusted his side kick with his life.

Roughly three years later, Spider-Boy was stabbed by the magic Sting Dagger and it erased his existence from the Web of Life and Spider-Boy was forgot by everyone.

A few days later, when Araña used a magic relic to restore every Spider totem who had been erased from the Great Web by the Sting Dagger, she was surprised to meet Spider-Boy. When he realized that Spider-Man (both Peter Parker and Miles Morales) didn’t remember him he angrily ran away.

He made it his mission to not be forgotten and spend spends his time trying to prove to Spider-Man and the Spider family he was worthy of being Peter Parker's sidekick once again.

After running from the Spider Family, Bailey heads back FEAST, but no one there recognizes him either, and his locker has been emptied out. He is about to leave but he get a reading that a girl is in trouble.

This leads to him saving Christina Xu from The Inner Demons, and the pair become quick friends. Christina is one of the few non-super power to know Spider-Boy's secret identity.

Maxed Out

Spider-Boy is wondering around the city when he comes in contact with a building that Spider-Man had just left and Spider-Boys spider sense goes off, warning him that Spider-Man is in trouble.

Peter Parker had Norman Osborn extend his Spider Sense and an accident over did it and now Peter can sense the entire cities population and their dangers. This causes Peter to go slightly mad trying to save everyone.

Spider-Boy tracks Spider-Man down and helps him defeat, Electro but Spider-Man still doesn't remember Spider-Boy and demands Spider-Boy explain who he is.

Spider-Boy tells Spider-Man his complete origin except why Peter never gave him web shooter and how he got stabbed by the Sting Dagger, but it is enough for Peter to start to trust Briggs.

The Web-less Wonder

Now back in reality, Briggs lives at F.E.A.S.T., a homeless shelter with Christina Xu and her family. He still works with Spider-Man while the webslinger tries to decide if he should trust the mysterious Spider-Boy.

The pair take down Gutterball and save Lucky Lane's Bowling Alley. This cause Spider-Man to trust Spider-Boy more and he even goes to The Daily Bugle and gets them to run a story about how Spider-Boy is a hero.

This leads to Lucky Lane, owner of the bowling alley to throw a special event for Spider-Boy. There he is attacked by Hellifino, and Briggs realizes Hellifino was an old friend, transformed by Madame Monstrosity. Spider Boy is able to convince Hellifino they used to be friends, but Hellifino is still under Madame's control and is force to return to her, lying that Spider-Boy got away.

Over the next few weeks, Spider-Boy helped Captain America stop Taskmaster from stealing Super-Adaptoid. He worked with Squirrel Girl to stop Balloon Man from destroying down town with a army of balloon mascot, and her helped Thor deal with Klöpp.

All these things got back to Spider-Man who trusted Briggs more and more, but one night a spider monster started cause chaos all around New York and Spider-Man and Christina accused Briggs. It turned out to be Boy-Spider but the damage had been done and Briggs felt like his friends didn't trust him and he needed to go out on his own once again.

Bailey returns to save Christina when he gets a vision that she is in danger, this gets him and her caught by Hellifino and taken back to Madame Monstrosity, and Stillwell Farm. There Madame runs tests on the Spider-Boy trying to learn why no one remembers him.

Luckily Christina is able to get a message to Spider-Man and the original webslinger, Captain America, Squirrel Girl, and The Toy Soldier come to the rescue. Spider-Boy convinces the other Humanimals that Madame was just using them and had no intent of changing them back.

After saving everyone he learns that him mom, Tabitha, has been transformed as well, but what is worse she doesn't remember him either. After Spider-Man changes almost everyone back to normal he tells that due to Madame using his DNA to make Boy-Spider, Bailey is stuck as Spider-Boy.

When all is lost Christina reminds Spider-Boy of the picture of him and his mother together and believes that if Tabitha sees it she will remember him again. Sadly, Puzzle Man destroys the picture and Bailey feels lost once again.

Lost Boy

Bailey can't handling all these loses and turns to the three people who could help him get his life back, Madame Web, Silk and Araña. After helping them get rid of Spider-Duck they agree to use the magic items and try to return everyone's memories of Spider-Boy and Bailey Briggs.

What ensues is Bailey is bounced around the Spider-Verse until Madame Web can convince Spider-Man to sacrifice his memories of his recent time with Uncle Ben. This act brought Bailey back to Earth 616, and everyone remembered Spider-Boy and their connection to Bailey Briggs.

This included his mom, Tabitha, who left the Humanimals and Stillwell Farm to reunite with her son. After banning Bailey from being Spider-Boy, she saw how he helped people and let him be a hero with her blessing an act that she may regret later.

Now Bailey has to act like a normal kid with a secret identity, this means going to school and keeping the fact that he is every classmate's favorite superhero, Spider-Boy.

The Dragon Challenge

During his time training with Daredevil, Bailey disobeyed the horned hero's orders to stay home and practice, and instead Spider-Boy followed Daredevil and accidentally won the fighting tournament that Daredevil had entered, and Spider-Boy won the prize, The Golden Fang of the Gaping Maw.

Spider-Boy didn't know that by possessing this item he was able to enter The Dragon Challenge, a fighting tournament where two fighters could win the prize of being the leader of the Gaping Maw, and more importantly he was now a target for Bullseye and his latest student, Spider-Girl.

After Bullseye and Spider-Girl steals the Fang, Spider-Boy and Daredevil have to fly to Madripoor, steal a fang from Enormo and Hulkette, enter the contest, defeat the other fighters until they face Bullseye and Spider-Girl in the finals, where the heroes lose.

But, due to Bullseye's cheating and Daredevil chasing after him he is disqualified and Spider-Boy teams up with Spider-Girl to defeat Mist, the leader of the Gaping Maw.

This time Spider-Boy is victorious and he is granted leadership of the Gaping Maw, but instead of leading them he orders them to go out into the world, do good deeds and use their power and money to make the world a better place, at least that is what he told Daredevil his order to the soldiers were.

Bug Brothers

Boy-Spider has learned that he can change his monster form to look like Bailey's human form. The spider turned boy, finds Tabitha and convinces she is her son, a deception that works until Bailey returns and breaks the ruse.

After some disagreements and brotherly bickering, Bailey and Boyd become friends and even work together to save FEAST and Stillwell Farm.

This last action causes Tabitha to move back to the farm to take care of Boy-Spider and Bailey gets to stay with Christina back in the city.
