Public Domain Comics
As comics are still a young artform in relation to copyright law, only the very earliest examples of what became the comic book are starting to fall into the public domain. However, due to lapsed copyrights many comics fell into the public domain in the 20th century on legal technicalities despite other works contemporary to them being very much still owned by their respective publishers. This has led to these comic properties being reprinted or reimagined by later publishers.
Puppets
There is something unnerving about effigies and duplicates of human beings, which is why there are so many supernatural tales involving mirror reflections, statues coming to life, and animated scarecrows and dolls. This is even more unnerving when the effigy can already move, such as puppets and animatronic figures and humanoid robots. So, naturally, comic books love such things.
Quantum Field
The Quantum Field is the limitless void of all matter and energy that is located in the space between matter and energy in the universe. The field acts as the underlying essence of all matter and energy in the cosmos and is the source of power for all Quantum-powered beings. The existence of this field acts according to Quantum Theory and it does and does not exist, meaning it does not exist until a quantum being wills it to do so.
Regeneration
Regeneration was a process unique to Time Lords. Unlike ordinary healing and regenerative abilities of other races, a Regeneration would be a complete biological reset, thus healing the body. This would also result in the Time Lord's body and personality changing, as every cell in the body, including brain cells, would change. Although they would have a new personality and appearance, they would remain the same person.
Reprinted Material (Not Collected/Translated)
In a trivially broad sense, all comic material that is collected or translated can be said to be reprinted. This page specifically covers the practice of reprinting material in its original language, generally in the same or a similar format to its first printing (not hardcovers or softcovers). This practice was more common in the days before back-issue collecting, collected editions or digital comics and would often see an ongoing title reuse old material to fill pages.
Robin
The patron saint of superhero sidekicks, several young people have taken on the role of Robin, Batman's partner in the battle against crime: Dick Grayson was the first, followed by Jason Todd, Tim Drake, and Stephanie Brown and currently Damian Wayne. The title of Robin is an honor all on its own comparable to that of Batman.
