Origin

Due to her breasts developing earlier than expected, she was constantly ridiculed by her classmates. This in turn made her focus more on schoolwork and academics, which is why she became President of Class 3-2 at Ohanomitsu Junior High.

Creation

Rana was created by Nakamura Rikito (writer) and Yukiko Nozawa (artist), and she first appeared on Weekly Young Jump No. 6-7 from 2026, in the 240th chapter of The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You.

The name Fushida Rana (伏田蘭那) is a homophone of the frase "how immoral" in japanese (ふしだらな, fushidarana), which in turn is a reference of how upon seeing her, people immediately think of her as a perverted person. It's also a play on her strait-laced personality, and how she's constantly flustered when faced with intimate situations.

Character Evolution

Appearance

Rana has dark slate blue eyes alongside dark slate blue hair, with the former being styled as a ponytail. She's also usually seen wearing two bobby pins on the left side of her head, as well as beauty marks on her left ear and beneath her right eye.

To avoid being seen as a "loose girl", Rana wears her uniform as the school rules follow, which means it doesn't have any type of modifications and has her skirt at a conservative length. She complements this outfit with a sweater and a red ribbon.

Personality

Rana dislikes being seen as a "loose" girl, as she's a sincere and strait-laced person. She also gets flustered whenever something "intimate" happens around her or with her, whether it be kissing or holding hands on a date.

Rana also has a hard work attitude, constantly putting extra effort when learning new skills. never giving up even if it takes her longer to learn than others.
