Origin

As the school nurse of Ohananomitsu High School, Chiyu cares a lot about the students, always taking care of them if needed.

Creation

Chiyu was created by Nakamura Rikito (writer) and Yukiko Nozawa (artist), and she first appeared on Weekly Young Jump No. 45 from 2025, in the 231rd chapter of The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You.

The name Jiai Chiyu (慈相千優) is a play on the words for taking care of oneself (自愛) and healing (治癒), all words referring fo her job as the school nurse.

Character Evolution

Appearance

Chiyu is normally seen wearing the school nurse uniform, consisting of a modified white medic coat with cuffed sleeves and armbands alongside her ID card. Her coat is worn over a white dress with flounce sleeves. She also wears white block heels with stockings. She has long flowing, light gray hair with orangish tan highlights, which is braided held up by a hair ribbon.

Personality

Chiyu is a very kind and courteous person who's always smiling. She's always helping the students in need that come to her infirmary, and while at first glance people think that nothing can bother her, she does build up an intense ammount of anger whenever she sees someone injured, going out of her way to make sure those kind of injuries don't happen again.
